Matt Kenseth’s win at Kansas last weekend was virtually nullified by NASCAR on Wednesday, as the governing body docked the driver 50 points for a rule violation discovered in a post-race inspection on Tuesday. NASCAR said on Wednesday that one of the connecting rods on the No. 20 car did not meet minimum weight. In addition, Kenseth’s crew chief, Jason Ratcliff, was suspended for six races and fined $200,000.
