Road Maintenance This Week

Some road maintenance will be taking place in Rabun County and the surrounding area this week.

The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced that in Rabun County, a crew will be mowing on Highway 76.

In Habersham County, a crew is adding rubberized asphalt to Highway 441, which will require a lane closure in the work zone, while another crew in Habersham County repairs the driving surface of State Route 365.

In Towns and Union Counties, crews will trim and remove overgrown vegetation on State Routes 339 and 515, respectively.

In White County, crews will repair damaged guardrails.

The work is scheduled to take place from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm this week as weather permits.
