Red Rage Rec Night Tonight

The community is encouraged to come enjoy Recreation Night at Frank Snyder Memorial Stadium tonight, Aug. 30, as the Rabun County Wildcats battle the North Murray Mountaineers.  It’s being called Red Rage Rec Night, explains Rabun County Recreation Department Athletic Director Adam Dixon. “Well, every year we have the Rec Department Rec Night and Coach Shaw is gracious enough to let us come over and the high school football team warms up as all of our junior Wildcats sit in the end zone and watch them, their a big part of it, and then our cheerleaders get to cheer with the Varsity Cheerleading Team.  It’s just a big deal for these kids and I think the high school players and cheerleaders enjoy it as well.” All Rabun County Recreation Department football players, cheerleaders, and coaches will get into the game free when wearing their jerseys, cheerleading uniforms, and coaches shirts. The Cat Walk starts at 6:55pm and then each age group will be announced starting at around 7pm.
