Recent Drug Arrests in Rabun County

Five people were recently arrested on drug charges after two separate incidents in Rabun County.  The first incident occurred on Georgia 15 at On The Run in Mountain City. Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office assisted by officers from the Mountain City Police Department and the Dillard Police Department arrested 37-year-old Colby Carroll Foreman of Bush, Louisiana for trafficking in cocaine, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a felon.  Also arrested was 20-year-old Madeline Alexandra Ford of Baton Rouge, Louisiana for trafficking in cocaine, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of marijuana, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The two suspects were booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the four charges, each. The second incident occurred during a traffic stop of a four-door sedan for failure to maintain lane on Warwoman Road at Pinnacle Road.  After a deputy with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office conducted a roadside interview, consent to search the vehicle was given at which time, narcotics were discovered. Three subjects were each arrested for possession and use of drug-related objects, possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance, and possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Booked into the Rabun County Detention Center were 31-year-old Thomas Dionte Miller of Decatur, Georgia, 34-year-old Johnnie Ryan Rathburn of Clayton, Georgia, and 41-year-old Geovanny Alexander Nunez of Clayton, Georgia.  The three illegal drugs were heroin, methamphetamine, and opium.
