RCWSA hears General Manager’s Report and elects Officers

At their recent meeting, the Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority (RCWSA) heard the monthly report for August 2020 from General Manager Brendan Thompson.  “Our ending balance for the month of August 2020 was right at $98,822.20.  Our latest bill to the City of Clayton is $107,388.41 for the month of August.  Basically we were up about 3.36% on the South Water System and the North System was right at where it was for July so there was no change one way or the other with that one.  We didn’t have any new taps for the month of August.  Our unaccounted for water for the South System was 6.55% and our unaccounted for the North System was 5.62%.  We installed one new fire hydrant and that was basically at Hollifield Connector and Old 441 South.”  The Authority also elected officers, adds Thompson.  “Sam Beck stayed on as chairman, Greg Peters will be co-chairman, Jerry Krivsky is treasurer, and Brett Cohee is secretary.”  The other members of the RCWSA are Dallas Taylor, Jeff Hunter, and Claude Rickman.
