RCSO busts meth house

CLAYTON The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) was assisted by the Clayton Police Department on Thursday when, at which time, they executed a search warrant at a local residence and seized varying amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana.

The home where authorities were authorized to conduct the raid occurred at 8 Duggan Hill in Clayton. The investigation had initially begun by the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, after receiving complaints from concerned citizens. Pursuant to the search warrant three persons were arrested:

Drew Austin Carpenter, 36, of Clayton, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

Cristie Rickman Mckay, 42, of Clayton, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

Curtis Lamar Nix, 56, of Scaly Mountain, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
