Rabun Football Returns Tonight
Football season returns tonight… well, sort of.
The Rabun County Wildcats football team will travel north of the border tonight to Franklin High School in North Carolina to face the Panthers in a preseason scrimmage game at 7:30pm.
Rabun County looks to capitalize on a fantastic 2015 season, which saw the cats go to the third round of the playoffs, and two seniors, Charlie Woerner and Tyler Harris, will continue their football playing career at division one institutions. Two current players, Noah Cannon and Bailey Fisher, were named to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution preseason all-AA team.
Rabun travels to Franklin tonight for a preseason scrimmage game tonight, at 7:30pm. This scrimmage will only last for two quarters. The season officially kicks off on August 26th at Mount Pisgah Christian in Alpharetta.
