Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority Meets

         The Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority meet Tuesday morning for its regular monthly meeting, among the topics covered the new water treatment plant is up and running putting clean water into the system. A resolution was passed to set a wholesale water rate for the city of Dillard of 4.50 per one thousand gallon. And the authority also explained that the county was refinancing a bond not acquiring more debt. The refinancing is expected to save county taxpayers over 400,000 in finance charges over the life of the bond.
