Clayton Business Subject to Burglary

A business in Clayton experienced a theft by taking incident last week.

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office responded to Wal Mart located on Highway 441 in Clayton on December 9th, concerning a report about shipping pallets being stolen. Officers spoke with the supervisor, that’s when the supervisor stated that he spotted a male who was loading the shipping pallets into the back of his truck, which was described as a dark colored Chevrolet. When the supervisor approached the male, he sped off.

The value of the pallets stolen is valued at approximately 150 dollars.
