Rabun County Schools Continuing Virtual Learning Through January 15th

From the Rabun County Schools Superintendent: “The Rabun County community continues to experience an unprecedented increase in COVID-19 positive cases and the NGHS is overwhelmed with patients needing care. After careful consideration, the decision has been made for students to continue virtual learning days through January 15, 2021. We will continue to monitor the data and cases and will update you on the status of returning to face to face instruction on January 14, 2021.
All teachers and staff will report to work daily to provide instruction virtually and provide assistance to students and parents.
Meals will be available and pickup options will be shared on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
Extracurricular activities will continue with the mitigation strategies in place. Coaches and sponsors will contact you with any changes.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We look forward to students returning as soon as it is safe to do so.
Dr. April Childers
Superintendent”
