Rabun County Schools announce COVID-19 Winter Sports Guidelines
As Rabun County Schools continue to monitor the effects of COVID-19 on school, they announce that the number one priority must always be the safety of students, faculty, staff, parents, and the Rabun County community as a whole. With the decision to temporarily shift to Virtual Learning through January 15, 2021, Rabun County Schools have made the decision to further limit capacity for all winter sports through January 17. Rabun County Schools will reassess these limitations as they are able to bring students back on campus for face-to-face instruction. Rabun County Schools appreciate your continued support during these incredible times and ask that you please review the following guidelines. The Rabun County High School Gym will operate at 25% capacity. Face coverings will be required for admission. Fans should bring their own face coverings, as they will not be available at the gate. Once capacity is reached, no additional spectators will be allowed to enter the gym. Only 100 General Admission tickets will be available at the Gym Main Entrance on gameday. General Admission tickets will be distributed evenly based on the number of games scheduled. (i.e., JV & Varsity Play = 25 Tickets Available Per Game, Varsity Only = 50 Tickets Available Per Game) Tickets will be available for purchase 30 minutes prior to the scheduled game time. Once tickets are sold out, only passes will be allowed admission. GHSA Passes, Booster Club All Season Passes, and Parent Season Passes will be accepted. Visiting team Athletic Directors will be provided a private GoFan link with access to 50 tickets for sale to visiting parents and fans. All Rabun County School students must purchase a ticket. All student tickets will include a coupon for a complimentary Coke and popcorn from the concession stand. There will be no passes out.
