Closings and cancellations for Wednesday, Jan. 17

As of Wednesday morning at 6 a.m. all Rabun County Schools will be closed for today January 17:

  • Macon County Schools – Franklin area
  • Rabun Gap – Nacoochee (Coaches and afternoon activity sponsors will contact players/participants directly if practices are scheduled)
  • North Georgia Technical College – all campuses

Also to announce closures are a list of office establishments. The list will be updated as we are notified:

  • Dr. Flick’s Medical Office
  • Dr. Fredrickson Medical Office
  • Dr. Flick’s Therapy Practice
  • Clarkesville Dermatology and Medical Associates
  • Rabun County Health Department
  • Med-Link Clayton
  • Rabun County Public Library (Wednesday matinee will be rescheduled)
  • 1st Franklin Financial, Clayton Branch
  • Ninth District Opportunity
  • Kidzcare Pediatrics
  • City Plumbing & Electric
  • Foxfire Museum and Heritage Center
  • Rabun Paws 4 Life
  • Northeast Georgia Physician Groups
  • Sudz N Bubbles Laundry
  • Clayton Baptist Church (All activities canceled)
