Rabun County Little League making major changes

With a new year comes the opportunity to improve and implement changes for the better. And the new president of the Rabun County Little League, Tiffani Cavender is doing exactly that

Cavender who had served as a board member the previous year took term as president in August and since then has been hard at work implementing new things such as the https://www.rabuncountylittleleague.org/ website.

“We have a website now. We started that up this year for online registration as a way parents can see everything and make it easier on them,” she said. “This year we’re offering $5 off if you register your child online.”

Another change Cavender made was deciding to upgrade the uniforms.

“We got new uniforms this year which is a big plus because when we go somewhere to play we want to look our best as we represent Rabun County,” she said.

Cavender mentioned some other things she and her new board members are hoping to accomplish this year.

“Well we have all new board members, getting our batting cages moved and getting them a little closer to the baseball fields, we’re working with a local photographer now and we’re getting quotes on getting our dugouts painted,” she said.

Cavender emphasized the importance of visiting the little league’s website as all pertinent information is listed on there such as cut-off dates for registration.
