Rabun Co. Wildcats host Adairsville this Friday Night

It’s game 3 of the season Friday night, September 2, 2022, for the Rabun County Wildcats, as they host Adairsville in a non-region game.  Both teams are looking to stay unbeaten as Rabun County sits at 2-0 after knocking off Haralson County 49-3, and Stephens County 14-7, and Adairsville is 1-0 on the season after defeating Cherokee Bluff in overtime 51-50. Rabun County High School Varsity Football Head Coach Mike Davis is very familiar with Adairsville and knows they will be a tough opponent.  “Being at Calhoun all those years I’m very familiar with Adairsville.  It is going to definitely be a different beast.  They are very athletic.  They have good size, another AAA school.  They just got ranked in the Top 10 this week after a huge win over Cherokee Bluff.  They had over 600 yards of offense.  We have our work cut off for us again, definitely.  They big played Cherokee Bluff.  Their first two scores were 80+ yards.  So, like I said, they’re really dynamic.  If your eyes are not in the right place, we call it ‘eye discipline’, if you don’t have good eye discipline then somebody is going to be wide open or someone is not covering a pitch.  So, that is what our defense has been working really hard on this week.”  The Rabun County High School varsity football game kicks off at 7:30pm in Frank Snyder Memorial Stadium.  If you can’t make it to the game and don’t want to miss a touchdown or tackle of the Wildcats, listen to all the exciting action on Sky 96.3.
