Public Safety Day

A public safety day took place over the weekend.

The event was held Saturday in the parking lot of Home Depot here in Clayton, and was put on by Safe Kids Rabun in conjunction with Home Depot.

The coordinator of Safe Kids Rabun Lisa Thompson says that over 300 children attended the event and learned not only about public safety, but also what they should do in an emergency situation.

Multiple law enforcement and public safety agencies were at the event.
