Prince wins Region Title, leads TFS to State berth

Brian Carter, Director of Sports Communication and Digital Media at Tallulah Falls School (TFS) reports that the TFS cross country program had a solid showing at the Region 8-A Championship meet on Friday at Athens Academy. The boys claimed a state meet berth behind region champion Evan Prince. He was a full minute and eight seconds ahead of the next place runner, and was 12 seconds faster than his previous best time on the same course.  Lucy Alexander earned an individual spot at state, as the girls team missed out by a single point. The JV division featured Zhigao Henrry Xiong finishing as the overall champion, while fellow TFS runner Brit Shaw came in third.
