“No Hard Feelings” Over Eliminated Position

The Rabun County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau shakes things up at their meeting earlier this week, voting to eliminate the position of executive director.

The position of executive director that was filled by Pete Cleveland was eliminated as a way to reduce spending of the CVB.

Cleveland says that he understands it was a business decision.

“No, there’s not hard feelings,” said Cleveland. “I think its just that we had a disagreement, and I didn’t agree with the decision, but they’re the board so they can make the decision.”

The board voted to eliminate Cleveland’s position on Monday.
