New Look for Clayton Intersections

You may have noticed orange barrels popping up in the intersections of Downtown Clayton. City Manager Cissy Henry says the beautification of Clayton has begun…

“This is Georgia Power installing the hangover bar red lights, so their gonna be at the intersection of 76 and 441, Savannah Street and 441, and up on Main Street. It’s basically part of our beautification project. It’s gonna, you know, make it a little less hectic with the wires with the hangovers and wooden poles, so we’ll have some decorative black poles.”

The project may cause some traffic delays through town and is expected to be finished in around 14 days.
