New Inoculations for 7th Graders
School is just around the corner, and the state has made some changes this month for those entering the 7th grade, says County Nurse Manager Cheryl Harbin…
“All students entering or transferring into the 7th grade must have the T-Dap, the other one would be the meningococcal disease, which is a serious bacteria that affects the brain and the spinal cord . Remember if your child was born after January 1st, of 2002, proof of both of these vaccines must be documented on the Georgia Immunizations Certificate form 3231.”
Students can go to their local pediatrician or the health department to receive the inoculations.
