Natalie Irma Stratton Howard

Natalie Irma Stratton Howard, 84 of Tiger, Georgia, passed Monday, June 5, 2017, in her home. Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1933, Natalie married Johnny V. Howard in 1952 in East Point Georgia. Although Natalie’s degree from Agnes Scott College was in chemistry, she chose to study architecture while her children were young. The hobby soon became a growing business which encouraged her husband, Johnny Howard, now deceased, to leave his job with a major appliance firm to become her business partner.

In 1966 the Howard family with their three small children moved from Atlanta to the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.

Moving to beautiful Rabun County at Christmastime in 1966 began the happiest years for their young family. They started their house plan business, Custom Home Plans, Inc. with Johnny, as President and General Manager and Natalie as the designer of home plans. The mail order plan business allowed them the chance to live in this peaceful location for the past 51 years.

We invite Natalie’s friends to join her family for a celebration of her life at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Beck’s Funeral Home located at 898 Highway 441 South, Clayton, Georgia 30525 for coffee.

No flowers needed, if you would like to remember Natalie with a donation, please give to your favorite charity on her behalf.
