More Kids playing Spring Sports in Rabun County

With COVID fears starting to subside, more kids are playing sports this spring at the Rabun County Recreation Department.  Over 250 kids are playing soccer this spring, says Athletic Supervisor Adam Dixon.  “I think 270 is what we have this year.  Our numbers are up to a little higher than they were pre-COVID.  Little League baseball, softball, and T-ball numbers are up as well.  So, that being said we think people are coming out and about and really getting active again and that is a beautiful thing.  I’m pretty excited about spring, I’ve had the winter blues and I’m ready.”  For program updates, visit the Rabun County Recreation Department’s Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/RabunCountyRecreationDepartment/.
