Man Transferred from Rabun to Walhalla
A man arrested in Rabun County has been returned to his hometown of Walhalla on charges alleging he took $2,900 worth of items from a unit in the Standpoint Vista Apartment Complex in South Carolina in October.
Authorities in Rabun County arrested Aaron Scott Gunn after a routine traffic stopped uncovered an open container of alcohol and drugs.
At that time, police were alerted to a warrant for his arrest in Oconee County.
He fought extradition back to Walhalla but was denied this week by a judge.
He stands charged with burglary in the first degree, which is a felony.
Gunn was booked at the Oconee County Detention Center.
