Man arrested on Meth Charges

A routine traffic stop resulted in six charges against an Eastanollee man.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 3:22pm on Nov. 4, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 for multiple violations.  The driver, 27-year-old Joshua Matthew Anthony Edmonds, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful for jail inmate to possess any controlled substances, driving without a valid license, failure to maintain lane, violation of the tail light requirements, and distracted driving.  He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center where he was searched and the illegal drugs were located and confiscated.
