Louisiana Man arrested on Drug Charges   

A Louisiana man was arrested on five charges after a traffic stop on Georgia 15 at its intersection with Goat Mountain Road in Wiley.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 1:45pm on July 1, 2020, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 for following too closely.  During the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted and heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine, and opium were discovered.  The driver, 29-year-old Trey Michael Naquin, was arrested for possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, distribution of controlled substances, possession and use of drug-related objects, and following too closely.  He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the charges.
