Lady Wildcats bounced from State Playoffs

The Rabun County Varsity Girls Basketball Team suffered their second loss of the season last night in the Elite Eight of the AA State Playoffs.  The Lady Wildcats were bounced from the state tournament after falling to the Early County Lady Bobcats, 73-60. A huge crowd packed Ken Byrd Court at Rabun County High School to cheer on the Lady Wildcats, who finish the season 28-2 overall.  Rabun County was led in scoring by Brooke Henricks with 18 points, Georgia Stockton added 13 points and Destiny Deetz contributed 11 points. It was a tearful final game for seniors Courtney Buchanan, Kaitlin Coleman, Brooke Henricks and Georgia Stockton as the crowd gave them a standing ovation following the game.
