Lady Indians take Top Spot and Boys were Runner-Up in ‘Cookies n’ Quotes’ Meet

Brian Carter, Director of Sports Communication and Digital Media at Tallulah Falls School (TFS) reports that the annual ‘Cookies n’ Quotes’ TFS meet was as good as it’s been, with hundreds of runners taking on the Farm Course with high hopes on Tuesday afternoon. It was the Lady Indians varsity team that shined brightest, taking the top spot over the likes of state powerhouse teams like Commerce, Rabun, and Prince Avenue Christian. Evan Prince won individually on his home course to pace the Indians to a runner-up finish.  Josie Chesser placed 10th among a talented field of some of the state’s top runners in the girls race, while Miranda Chapa (14th), Caroline Ball (16th), and Lucy Alexander (18th) all finished in the top 20 to secure a top finish for TFS.  While the girls took first out of 10 programs, the boys were equally impressive, placing 2nd out of 12. Prince came in first overall with a 16:49 finish, 30 seconds ahead of the next closest runner.  The girls MS team came in third and the MS boys fourth to also highlight TFS’ excellence in the meet.
