Lady Indians drop tight one to #8-ranked ELCA

Brian Carter, Director of Sports Communication and Digital Media at Tallulah Falls School (TFS) announces that the TFS Lady Indians dropped their first game of the season while going up 12 points at the half against #8-ranked Eagles Landing Christian Academy. The girls lost 46-40 despite owning the first half and taking a 27-15 lead into the break. TFS is playing in the TCS Harvest Hoops Classic, hosted at Trinity Christian.  ELCA outscored Tallulah Falls 16-8 in the third and 15-5 in the fourth quarter. The Lady Indians did very well crashing the boards, outrebounding ELCA 30-17, including hauling in 11 offensive rebounds.  Denika Lightbourne scored a team-high 14 points, while Katy Corbett and Veronaye Charlton both had 10 points. Abby Carlan and Kailyn Neal each had 3 in the loss.  The Lady Indians are now 2-1 on the season and play against host Trinity Christian on Tuesday at 12:30pm.
