Identity Theft under Investigation

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent case of identity theft.  On September 19, a deputy spoke with a Clayton man about someone using his name, phone number, email address, and home address to make purchases from Home Depot in Atlanta and Decatur.  The man told the deputy that he has also contacted the Credit Monitoring Service and reported the identity theft.
