Hazardous Weather Outlook for Rabun County

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Piedmont North Carolina, Western North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina, and Northeast Georgia, including Rabun County for Monday, August 29, 2022.  Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. Cloud-to-ground lightning and localized heavy rainfall are expected with most storms. A storm or two capable of producing damaging wind gusts can`t be ruled out.
