Georgia Pump Prices rise 4 Cents
Georgia gas prices continue upward trend compared to a week ago, reports AAA. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $2.46 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average is 4 cents more than a week ago, 3 cents more than last month, and 41 cents more than this time last year. It now costs $36.90 to fill a 15-gallon tank of gasoline. That is $5.70 less than what motorists paid in May of 2018, when pump prices hit their peak of $2.84 per gallon. The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is $2.58, which is 1 cent more than last week, 1 cent less than last month, and 34 cents more than this time last year.
