Georgia Power working around the Clock to get Power back on

Georgia Power reports that it is continuing to work around the clock to get the power back on in the hardest hit areas following Helene. While damage and treacherous conditions remain, teams are working around the clock and will remain in the field until every customer who can accept power is reconnected. In the hardest hit areas, including Augusta, Georgia Power teams are working to rebuild the power grid, not just restore it. This involves setting thousands of poles, transmission lines and wires, along with reengineering the grid in some areas. Georgia Power has thousands of crews who are boots on the ground working to ensure customers have the energy they need. Georgia Power won’t stop and will keep you posted on its Outage Map.
