Four Recent Wrecks in Rabun Co.

Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office responded to four recent wrecks in the county.  On Nov. 27, the driver of a 2015 Toyota Prius told the deputy that she was traveling on her driveway off Bridgecreek Road when a tree fell and struck her vehicle causing damage.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident. On Nov. 27, the driver of a 2012 Mazda 4S said he was traveling north on Georgia 15 and struck a deer that was crossing the roadway.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident. On Nov. 29, the driver of a 2005 Toyota Scion told the deputy that he was following a tractor-trailer on Georgia 15 when it hit its brakes and he had to swerve into the other lane where he struck a 2012 Nissan Titan.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle accident. On Nov. 29, the driver of a 2013 Chrysler Touring said that while she was driving down Lamb Road a deer came off the right side embankment and collided with her vehicle. No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident.
