A small fire broke out around 8:00 this morning in the back of La Mexicanita on Stave Mill Street. Three stations 1, 6, and 12 responded to the call. Fire Chief Marty Dixon was on the scene…
“We had units arrive on the scene, we had a knock down on the fire in approximately 18 minutes. Nobody was in the building and no injuries.”
The fire was contained to the ceiling and roof area and the damages were minimal due to the quick response of the 18 firefighters on the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
