Firearm and Laptop stolen from Vehicle in Clayton

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a firearm and laptop from a vehicle in Clayton.  On November 15, 2022, a deputy took a report from a Clayton woman, who stated that she had a Springfield Helcat 9mm pistol and Windows laptop stolen from her 2016 Range Rover Land Rover.  She provided serial numbers for both items and both items have been entered into the Georgia Crime Information Center database as stolen.  The total value of the items is $1,100.
