Felony Theft in Lakemont under Investigation

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a felony theft by taking case in Lakemont. On October 26, 2024, a deputy met with the victim, who stated that his jet ski and trailer had been stolen. The total value of the stolen items is $8,200. They have been entered into the Georgia Crimes Information Center database as stolen. The case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.
