Rabun County Board of Commissioners Meeting

Rabun County Board of Commissioners will hold a Work Session and Meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, in the Rabun County Courtroom.  At 5:30pm is the Work Session followed by the Regular Meeting at 6pm.  Topics on the agenda include consider for approval the zoning request from Karla Sidey for specific purpose zoning to allow horses to be kept on property located at Land Lot 119, Land District 3 Parcel 058E 347 currently zoned as Residential 3, consider for approval the zoning request from John and Germaine Meyers for a variance to allow a 10ft setback from a private gravel road to construct a new residence. Property is located at Lots 21-23, Block 8, Land Lot 95, Land Distract 5 Parcel LB14A 001, Tim Ramey with the Rotary Club of Clayton will discuss a low-cost dental clinic at Rabun County Health Department, consider for approval the Audit Engagement Letter with Rushton and company to perform the 2020 Audit, appoint or re-appoint members to the Rabun County Library Board. The Board recommends the re-appointment of Helen Gillespie and new appointment of Samuel Justin Shook, appoint or re-appoint a member to the Economic Development Authority. The Board recommends the re-appointment of Leckie Stack and Elliott Keller, appoint or reappoint a private sector member to the GMRC Council. The Council recommends re-appointment of Doug Wayne, and consider for approval the 2021 Fiscal Year Budget.
