Early Voting starts Oct. 15
Early Voting for the November 5th General Election begins on October 15, and runs through November 1, says Rabun County Elections Deputy Registrar Derik Pendrey. “Early Voting for the election will start October 15th, and run for three weeks. The first two weeks we will be open 9am to 5pm and the third week we will be open 9am to 6pm. We are also open two Saturdays, on October 19th and October 26th, from 9am to 5pm.” Sample ballots are available online, so you can be an educated voter, adds Pendrey. “Sample ballots are downloaded on the Rabun County website under the Elections tab. There is a Clayton ballot because they have two questions, that is just for the City of Clayton and then you have the countywide ballot. You can also stop by our office, we have sample ballots here at 184 South Main Street, Suite 102 in Clayton.” Rabun County currently has one polling place, the Rabun County Voting Center, located at 184 South Main Street, Suite 102 in Clayton. This is the location where all votes are cast. For more information, visit https://www.rabuncounty.ga.gov/elections.
