Drug Arrest made in Tiger

A Clayton woman stands charged with four offenses after a traffic stop on September 23.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that a deputy stopped a 2015 Hyundai Sonata for a window tint violation and a busted taillight.  During the stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted and a plastic baggie containing a clear-crystal-like substance, suspected of being methamphetamine, was discovered.  The deputy arrested 22-year-old Samatha Rose Burrell for possession of methamphetamine, possession and use of drug-related objects, window tint violation, and taillight lens requirements.  She was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the four charges.
