Driving too Fast for the Conditions causes Two Wrecks
Driving too fast for the conditions caused two recent wrecks in Rabun County. On July 7, 2024, at 5:38pm, the driver of a 2019 Nissan Altima hit a puddle on Georgia 15 at the intersection of Joy Bridge Road and then spun out hitting the guard rail. No one was injured in the wreck. On July 7, 2024, at 7:14pm, the driver of a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle took the curve on Bridge Creek Road too fast, slid off the road, and struck a clump of trees. No one was injured in the wreck.
