DOT Plans Work this Week

Work on state highways is planned for Northeast Georgia this week.

The Georgia Department of Transportation announced last that crews will be working throughout this area through Friday of this week from 7:00am to 5:30pm as weather permits.

In Rabun County, a crew will clean and restore ditches along State Route 197.

In Habersham County, crews will repair a damaged guardrail on State Route 365.

In Towns County, a crew will clean and restore ditches on State Route 2.

In Stephens County, crews will repair edge ruts on State Route 63.

In Union County, a crew will trim and remove overgrown vegetation on State Route 515.

In White County, a crew will repair a damaged guardrail on Highway 17.

Motorists should reduce their speed in these and all work zones.
