Development Authority Replaces Sprinkler Heads
The Development Authority of Rabun County met earlier this week.
At their meeting, the development authority discussed some sprinkler heads that had been replaced.
Executive Director of the Development Authority Ray Coulombe says that the sprinkler heads were replaced after an incident at the business park involving space leased to GAP Partners, Incorporated.
“They had two incidents with sprinkler heads releasing, and there are two insurance claims that are being processed because of that,” said Coulombe. “We made the decision to replace all sprinkler heads, and Ultimate Fire did that.”
The cost of replacing the sprinkler heads in GAP Partners new space was around $15,000.
