Deputies investigating Criminal Damage to TruVista Property

On Aug. 30, 2019, a deputy with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office responded to North Germany Road just off Black Mountain Parkway to speak with a representative with TruVista regarding criminal damage to property.  The representative told the deputy that one of TruVista’s housing units had been shot. The unit was hanging approximately four-feet up on a power pole, just off the roadway. The unit appeared to have been shot one time damaging the BBI Module and power pack.  The representative estimated that the incident occurred around 5pm on Aug. 30, due to the requests for service that were submitted to TruVista. The estimated total damage to the property is $875.
