COVID-19 Update from Mountain View Health and Rehab

The staff of Mountain View Health and Rehab in Clayton continues to work tirelessly to keep COVID-19 out of the building.  Mountain View Health and Rehab Director of Marketing and Community Relations Ross McIntire gives an update on what they are doing to prevent the spread of the respiratory virus.  “We’re still sheltered in place through at least October 10.  We’re doing all we can and still adhering to all CDC and Department of Public Health guidelines.  At this point, we still don’t have COVID-19 in the building, we’ve done a good job of keeping it out after that first little wave, and hope to keep it out for good.  We’re going to do everything we can to keep it out.  Unfortunately, we’re still not allowing visitors.  We get a lot of phone calls about that from families and we understand that of course, they would want to come to see their loved ones but we are still sheltering in place at least through October 10, so that is going to be in place at least until then unless they extend it.”  Mountain View Health and Rehab on Warwoman Road is a medium-sized nursing home facility serving 93 residents.
