Clayton Man arrested for making Terroristic Threats
A Clayton man stands charged with making terroristic threats at the U.S. Forest Services’ Lake Rabun Campgrounds. The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that on September 26, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at the campgrounds on Lake Rabun Road. Upon arrival, deputies were told by campground managers about an argument over loud music coming from a radio at one of the sites. The deputies met with both parties involved and arrested 61-year-old Ernest Dean Runion of Clayton for making terroristic threats and acts. He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the charge and a criminal trespass warning was issued to him per the request of campground management.
