Clayton Man arrested for DUI

A 55-year-old Clayton man faces driving under the influence of alcohol and having an obscured license plate charges after a traffic stop on Nov. 15.  A deputy with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office stopped a 2000 Ford Ranger on Georgia 15 East at Duckett Apartments for the validation tag not being fully visible.  The deputy smelled alcohol on the driver’s breath and conducted field sobriety tests. The driver, Ronald Edward Ledford, failed those tests and was arrested.
