Clayton Man arrested for DUI
A Clayton man stands charged with driving under the influence (DUI). The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Feb. 12, a deputy was dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle being partially in the roadway on Bridge Creek Road in the area of Carnes Road. Upon arrival, the deputy observed the driver, 29-year-old Jeremy Glenn Kilpatrick was asleep with the car still running. The deputy observed a large mass in Kilpatrick’s pocket. The deputy removed a jar from his pocket and located a small amount of marijuana and a bag containing suspected methamphetamine residue. After failing field sobriety tests, Kilpatrick was arrested for DUI. He was then transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking.
