Clayton man and woman busted for distributing illegal narcotics

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office has once again put a repeat offender behind bars after confiscating a slew of illegal narcotics with the help of the Clayton Police Department.
Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, along with officers from the Clayton Police Department, executed a search warrant at a local apartment complex off Highway 76 East.
The search warrant was a result of an investigation into illegal drug activity following a recent drug overdose at that apartment. The two occupants of the apartment, Holly Beth Alexander of Clayton and Jamee Boom-Boom Doddridge also of Clayton were both arrested on multiple charges for Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute (Heroin), Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute (Oxycodone), Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (Ecstasy), Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance (Xanax), Possession of Drug Related Objects and Cruelty to Children.
According to previous arrest records, Doddridge has been arrested multiple times in neighboring counties and Rabun on identical charges for the distribution of illegal narcotics.
As of Monday afternoon, both Doddridge and Alexander remain lodged in the Rabun County Detention Center. Bond for both individuals has been set at $27,000 by the Rabun County Superior Court.
