Clayton City Council approves Pay Raise for City Manager

To reward her for a job well done in her first few months, the Clayton City Council approved a pay raise for Clayton City Manager Trudy Crunkleton at their meeting on Tuesday.  Clayton Mayor Kurt Cannon gives details.  “Trudy Crunkleton has been with us for five months now and so next month will be her sixth month here.  We felt like she was going way above and beyond what we had even imagined when we hired her and she has done a really good job of organizing and handling things in City Hall with all the employees and leaders there as well as in the community.  We felt like we needed to offer up to fit more what she was doing and accomplishing day-to-day.”  Crunkleton’s first day on the job as Clayton City Manager was April 18.  She had previously worked in Clarkesville with their downtown development projects.  She is a native of Rabun County.
