City Attorney to Report on SPLOST

The Clayton City Council is set to have a special called meeting Tuesday.

Clayton City Manager Cissy Henry says that the council will hear from City Attorney Mitch Baker at the meeting set for 5:30 Tuesday afternoon in the courtroom at the Clayton Municipal Complex.

“At the last meeting, Mitch was given permission to look into the SPLOST vote, and he is just going to update the council.”

The city of Clayton was not specifically listed to receive funds from SPLOST, and various council members have expressed displeasure with that situation.

No other items are on the agenda.
