Christmas Parade a Success

The Rabun County Christmas Parade took place over the weekend.

The parade took place on Saturday in downtown Clayton, and the President of the Rabun County Chamber of Commerce Tony Allred said that he felt it was a success.

“We thought it went absolutely great. We had about 50 floats, maybe 51, and we had some really first class entries too. Good looking floats, a lot of people, and I’ll tell you, Main Street was packed with people,” said  I was thrilled with it.”

Winners were chosen from the entries. Third place went to the float entered by Foxfire, second place went to the City of Clayton, and first place was given to Betsy’s School of Dance.

Also, an honorable mention is the float entered by Home Depot.
